The Davante Adams saga in Las Vegas has been full of ups and downs since day one.

When the Raiders made a deal for him through 2022, it felt like a dream come true.

Fresh from a playoff run, they were reuniting Adams with his college friend Derek Carr. But the fairy tale did not last long.

Fast forward to today, the landscape has changed dramatically.

Carr was gone, replaced by a merry-go-round of backup quarterbacks. Josh McDaniel era? It was over before it really even started.

Now, whispers of a potential Adams trade are swirling, barely two seasons into his Vegas adventure.

Betting odds are already painting a picture of where Adams could land next. The New York Jets lead the way at +400 at BetCalifornia.com, with the Ravens, Cowboys and Steelers close behind.

It’s not hard to understand why Adams is eyeing the exit.

At 32 years old, the prospect of wasting his prime years with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell isn’t exactly thrilling.

And let’s not forget the open secret – Adams and Aaron Rodgers have been not-so-subtly hinting at a reunion.

Meanwhile, the Jets could use a boost. Rodgers and Garrett Wilson are still finding their rhythm, and Mike Williams has not lived up to expectations.

Bringing Adams into the mix could be just what the doctor ordered, giving Rodgers a familiar target and opening up the field for the rest of New York’s offense.

As rumors continue to spread, one thing is clear – the Adams era in Vegas may be coming to an abrupt end.

Where he lands next could shake up the NFL landscape in a big way.
