ZOZO Championship 2024 live: dates, tee times, players, leaderboard and how to follow the popular event in Japan


The 2024 Zozo Championships will attract another big-name field in Japan this week.

Now set for its sixth edition, ZOZO has proven to be a popular addition to the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup fall run.

Tiger Woods won the inaugural tournament in 2019, the last victory of his career, while fellow champions included Patrick Cantlay, Keegan Bradley and, last year’s winner, Collin Morikawa.

ZOZO signals the final tournament of the calendar year for many top professionals and Narashino is now set to host another exciting week.

ZOZO Championship 2024: Date and how to follow

This tournament will run from Thursday 24 October to Sunday 27 October.

It is being held at Narashino Country Club in Inzai, Japan. The course will be a par 70 and measure a maximum of 7,079 yardage.

For UK fans the game will start at 12:45am each day and continue throughout the night.

Zozo Championship 2024: Field and leaderboard

Many top players will be in action in Japan, including defending champion Morikawa.

Morikawa will be joined by Sahith Thegala and Will Zalatoris for the opening two rounds, while world number two Xander Schauffele has been paired with Rickie Fowler and Min Woo Lee.

The ZOZO will be a 72-hole stroke play event with no cuts and have a prize pool of $8.5 million, the most offered at any event in the FedEx Cup Fall Run.

The winner will also receive 500 FedExCup points.

Defending champion Morikawa said: “I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since my win at the Zozo Championships.

“It’s an honor to be the defending champion and I’m looking forward to defending and hopefully winning the title again in Narashino.

“Japan is one of my favorite places in the world in terms of food, fans and golf and I look forward to going there again.

World No. 2 Schauffele said: “The fans are what make playing at Zozo so special, you guys make everything on the course feel incredible. I hope everyone will come forward to support us.

“Winning the Zozo Championship would put an exclamation mark on an incredible season.”
