After the New York Yankees lost the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers, all eyes are now turning to the slugger’s impending free agency. He was asked about his mentality in the offseason after Wednesday’s Game 5 and he wasn’t closing the door on any team.

“I feel like every team has the same opportunity when I go into free agency,” Soto told reporters.

For his part, Yankees teammate Aaron Judge expressed hope that Soto would return to the Bronx Bombers, saying, “We were definitely fortunate to have him here, and it will be great to continue playing with him because he’s definitely a special Is a player.”
