Toss delayed due to wet outfield in second Test between India and Bangladesh

The toss of the second Test between India and Bangladesh was delayed due to a wet outfield following overnight rain here on Friday (September 27, 2024).

It rained overnight due to which the outfield became wet. Super-shoppers were pressed into service as the ground staff were busy drying the pitch.

Inspection will take place at 9:30 am

India had defeated Bangladesh Defeat by 280 runs in the opening test in Chennai.
