Shocking thing! Outdoor unit of air conditioner fell on 18-year-old boy from second floor in Delhi, death | Video
In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old boy died in central Delhi on Saturday after the outdoor unit of an air conditioner fell on him from the second floor.
The deceased was identified as Jitesh (18), a resident of Doriwalan, who was rushed to hospital but was declared dead.
His friend Pranshu (17), a resident of Patel Nagar, was also injured in the incident.
The video of the incident, which occurred in the Desh Bandhu Gupta police station area at around 7 pm on Saturday evening, has gone viral on social media.

Police said that the injured Pranshu is currently undergoing treatment and is unfit to give a statement.
In the video, Jitesh can be seen talking to his friend and hugging him while sitting on his scooter. However, seconds before they could leave, the outdoor unit of the AC fell on them, injuring both of them.
“Around 7 pm on Saturday, a report was received at the Deshbandhu Road police station about an AC outdoor unit falling on a man. The unit fell on two boys from the second floor,” PTI quoted a senior police official as saying.
An FIR was registered under sections 125 (A) (act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code, he said.
The forensic team has inspected the spot and further investigation is underway.
