Los Angeles Sparks’ new sensation Rickia Jackson is the latest member of the Unrevealed Basketball League, a new 3×3 basketball league that will take place in Miami during 2019. WNBA off season.
The league, started by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, will begin in January, run for 8 weeks and feature six teams, each with five players. Thirty of the world’s top female basketball players will participate – 18 of which have now been announced.
Unrevealed offers an option for players who want to earn income in addition to their WNBA salary but don’t want to move overseas. The league has a minimum salary of $150,000 per player, and all players in the inaugural class will receive equity.

“She brings us a lot of buzz as part of this new generation of players,” Miller said. “And that’s why she gets the biggest ovation when we have the starting lineup in L.A. She’s really popular.”
In her rookie campaign, the fourth overall pick is averaging 12.6 points on 46.6% shooting. Of the three rookies averaging double figures — Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Jackson — Jackson has been the most efficient. She has also shot 37.2% from three-point range.
“She’s really special on the offensive end and is only going to get better,” Miller said. “Now she has the confidence and she knows she has the green light without hesitation. She’s totally capable of shooting threes now and it’s really fun to watch as it makes her even more dynamic. She’s going to be really special and we’re all seeing that and we’re all watching her progress.”
There are several new players who could help drive interest in Unrevealed, but Collier confirmed that there are only four new players in the initial class so far.
