Many contenders around the NBA may still be shorthanded and will be looking for an addition to bolster their rosters during the 2024-25 season.
NBA champion Paul Pierce recently named a player who could help some teams in the league if his current team makes him available.
“Jerami Grant, he can help somebody. ‘Because he brings athleticism, and he can shoot. And can bring stiffness in the wing. You need someone who can guard multiple positions,” Pierce said via All the Smoke Productions.
“He doesn’t have that presence anymore.”
Are the Milwaukee Bucks the most sleepy team in the NBA?⁰⁰@KevinGarnett5KG , @PaulPierce34 Target a player who can help them climb back to the top of the former.

For example, Pierce’s pitch for the Portland Trail Blazers star could be exactly what the Milwaukee Bucks need.
As their core players, including Khris Middleton, battle injuries and Father Time, Grant’s versatility and defensive prowess could be the missing piece to revive the Bucks’ championship aspirations.
The Bucks are entering a turning point as a franchise after falling well short of expectations last season. With the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers making significant steps this offseason, Milwaukee needs to prove it is still one of the elite teams in the East.
The talent is there, but questions remain whether the Bucks can recapture their championship-caliber form.
Perhaps adding someone like Grant could be the missing ingredient.
