Noah Lyles says he doesn’t know who NFL superstar Tyreek Hill is amid debate over who is faster

“Who’s that cheetah guy from football, what’s his name? I can’t remember his name,” Lyles said, then turned and asked someone else, “What’s the name of that football player who thinks he’s fast?”

Hill, who was recently named the best player in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2024, had spoken out against Lyles’ performance in winning bronze in the men’s 200 meters in Paris, a day after Lyles tested positive for COVID-19.
“He can’t say anything after what happened with Noah Lyles. Then he wants to come out and act like he’s sick. I think that’s bullshit,” Hill said.
Hill even said he would beat Lyles in the race.
“I’m going to beat Noah Lyles,” Hill said. “I might not beat him by a lot, but I’m going to beat Noah Lyles. When I beat him, I’m going to put on a COVID mask and let him know I’m serious.”
Hill is arguably the fastest player in the NFL and, like Lyles, is a former track star. Hill clocked a league-leading 23.34 mph in the 2016 season. That same year, he competed at the USA Track & Field Masters Indoor Championships and recorded a 6.70 time in the 60-meter dash.

However, Lyles might still be the favorite if the two face off.
Hill’s personal best time in the 100m came in high school when he ran it in 10.19 seconds.
