No injuries in fire at Cowboy Hotel in Oxnard

Oxnard, California – The Oxnard Fire Department and police were called. Dallas Cowboys‘The fire broke out at the training camp located at the River Ridge Residence Inn on Tuesday after a fire broke out in a guest room.

According to the team, the fire was confined to one room, which was vacant at the time, and no one was injured.

While firefighters dealt with the situation, players and coaches were preparing for a late afternoon practice after about two hours of practice earlier in the day.

The Cowboys take over the entire River Ridge Residence Inn complex for players, coaches, front office staff, support staff and other personnel. No non-Cowboys personnel live on the property during the team’s stay in California.

The Cowboys will hold their final practice of camp in Oxnard on Wednesday, and after a brief tour and autograph session for camp volunteers, they will return to Dallas on Thursday.

They host it Los Angeles Chargers Saturday in their final preseason game at AT&T Stadium.
