Unboxing: The packaging echoes the brand’s modern minimalism
I got to bask in that ‘treat yourself’ giddiness as soon as my package arrived. I carefully opened the cutest dust bag to reveal a beautiful white magnetic box that matches Mejuri pieces perfectly—understated yet elevated. Honestly, it looked like it’d been swiped from Elizabeth Taylor’s dresser.
There was also a little black pouch for my earrings, complete with a divider to prevent any pesky scratching when I’m not wearing them. Which is like, never. I’m obsessed.

For me, the choice was clear: 14k solid yellow gold—indisputably longer lasting—for every one of my chosen pieces.
However, Mejuri crafts fine jewelry in more accessible metals like sterling silver and gold vermeil, too. Don’t get confused between gold vermeil and gold plating, either. While similar, vermeil is a thicker, higher-quality plating that’s truly built to last (read: 18-karat gold layered on sterling silver.)

A slim, understated take on the classic tennis necklace, I find Mejuri’s design to be more subtle-show than tawdry-tell. Featuring an elegant string of 36 small, round cut, natural diamonds, it glimmers beautifully on my neck without screaming ‘look at me!’.
The sustainable 14k gold gold chain is thinner than I anticipated but I love how effortlessly wearable and lightweight it is. I have worn it as the finishing touch to upscale events and to add a chic accent to my everyday looks—this tennis necklace’s nothing if not versatile. This strand of sparkles feels both refined and relaxed, making it a perfect match (pun intended) for minimalist jewelry lovers like me.
Just a heads up, though: this gold necklace is dainty and delicate. It requires some patience and precision if you need to attach it on your own. Also, you should lay it flat out when you’re not wearing it—unless hours spent detangling sounds great to you.

Another timeless beauty, I’m hopelessly devoted to my Dôme Figure Slim Ring. Statement yet soft at once, the fluid design melds seamlessly with literally any outfit I throw on.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the ring is hollow, which is a little downside for me as I find some dirt and residue could accumulate in there. Also note that the brand stocks size 4 to 12, but currently doesn’t offer half sizes.
