Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been one of the best and most reliable players at his position for several years, but his performance has been a bit shaky so far this season.
He’s made just five of his eight field goal attempts through the first three games of the year, and that’s why the Ravens are just 1-2.
According to Jamison Hensley, Tucker says he has been working on his technique lately.
Justin Tucker: “It’s fair to say that lately I’ve just been working on technique. For the most part, we’ve been shooting the ball really well. And then I let three kicks go through my hand earlier this season.” pic.twitter.com/sSjUXPbor7

Tucker, 34, has made it to the Pro Bowl in each of the past six seasons, and has made less than 85 percent of his field goal attempts in only one of his past 12 years in the NFL.
All three of the Ravens’ games so far have been decided by just one touchdown, and that’s where the play of special teams becomes even more important.
That’s especially true for a team like Baltimore, which comes into this season with real Super Bowl hopes and aspirations.
Baltimore had the best record in the NFL last year, but lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, and added star running back Derrick Henry in the offseason.
Henry has played well so far this year, but he also has issues on defense where he isn’t able to get enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
They will host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, which will give them a great opportunity to not only get to 2-2, but also to pull off a big win against a team that is 3-0.
