After a disappointing start to the 2024 NFL regular season with a loss to the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets have bounced back with two consecutive wins in the last two weeks.

While opponents on either side of the football aren’t in the same category as the 49ers, the Jets are winning the games they should be winning right now, which is a good sign for the team moving forward with Rodgers.

The Jets defeated the Tennessee Titans in Week 2 and then crushed the division-rival New England Patriots in the team’s home opener at MetLife Stadium.

With Rodgers back as the best quarterback in the league, the Jets have something to look forward to in Week 4, when the team hosts the Denver Broncos, who are coming off an impressive win over Baker Mayfield’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ahead of the Week 4 clash with Sean Payton’s team, Jets officials have decided to make a few moves, with the team signing safety Jalen Mills and linebacker Brandon Smith while releasing safety Jalen Key from the practice squad, according to the team’s X account.

Of the two new additions to the defensive side of the football team, Mills’ addition appears to be the most notable, as the one-time Super Bowl champion may be able to bring some championship experience to this team in the future.

It will be interesting to see if the Jets can keep their winning streak going this weekend, while the Broncos managed to get something going against the Buccaneers last week.
