The Washington Commanders will be pleased with what they’ve seen from Jayden Daniels.

Daniels, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, showed why he deserves to be selected so high as his double play was on full display in Sunday’s 21-18 win over the New York Giants.

If he can adjust to NFL defenses and find his throwing rhythm, this new quarterback has a lot of potential, and his running ability keeps his potential high each week.

Before the game, Daniels displayed an act of kindness toward a young fan who was excited to see him.

“Jayden Daniels made this young fan’s day ahead of Commanders vs. Giants matchup.”

In a heartwarming moment, Daniels threw a football to a young fan wearing a Terry McLaurin jersey, and the smile on his face showed just how much the football meant to him.

It looks like if Daniels continues to interact with fans the way he did with the kid, he will soon become a fan favorite, although fans would still like to see more performances from him on the field.

However, all signs point to a long and successful career for Daniels.
