If it’s hard to get one son into the National Football League, imagine how hard it would be to get two sons into the National Football League.

Even more so, what’s the odds of having two future Hall of Famers and a Super Bowl champion in the same family?

Not many houses can boast of this honor, and it wasn’t always this way for the Kelseys.

Both Jason and Travis worked hard and eventually became one of the best – if not the best – players to ever play their positions.

However, long before that, they were just normal brothers.

Recently Jason shared a story about how he punched Travis in the face when they were younger and how quickly things escalated.

In his appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast, he revealed that one day, Travis was beating him easily while playing basketball, so he resorted to fouling to stop him.

Travis got angry at him and threw the ball at him and went into the house.

Jason came into the house and punched him in the face, and Travis, who would usually just cry, couldn’t do that at that moment, so he grabbed him, picked him up, and slammed him on the kitchen floor so hard that the oven actually shook.

Perhaps this was the time the Kelseys realized their boys were strong enough to be football stars.

Whatever the case may be, it’s nice to know that they were just boys and eventually worked everything out, as they’ve become very close and are the league’s favorite brother duo since Peyton and Eli Manning.
