Kabaddi: Sachin Tanwar has received the highest bid so far in the PKL S11 auction, Tamil Thalaivas bought him for Rs 2.15 crore. Iran’s Mohammadreza Shadlooi Chayaneh is the other player to be bought for more than Rs 2 crore, he was picked up by Haryana Steelers.
Paralympic Games: India’s top athletes will compete again at the Paralympics, which begin in Paris on August 28, two weeks from now. India is sending its largest-ever contingent of 84 athletes and the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) hopes the contingent will surpass the 19 medals India won at the Tokyo Paralympics.
