A backlit keyboard is part of the equipment used by online video game streamer Jordan Woodruff at his home in Gilbert. Jordan Woodruff Edward Gaming won the Valorant Champions 2024 title and the $1 million first-place prize with a 3-2 win over Team Heretics on Sunday.
Team Heretics finished as runners-up in the tournament and won a prize of $400,000.

Team Heretics got off to a fast start with a 13-6 win on Haven, before Edward Gaming responded with a 13-4 win on Sunset and a 13-9 win on Lotus. Heretics forced a decisive fifth map with a 13-11 win on Bind, however Edward Gaming captured the title with a 13-9 win on Abyss.
The 16-team tournament began with group play on August 1. Eight teams advanced to the playoffs.
