With the Las Vegas Raiders stuck in NFL hell, there are rumors floating around that they could possibly trade their best player.

Star wide receiver Davante Adams’ name has come up in trade rumors recently, but he remains a member of the Raiders as he looks to regain respect in some way.

According to Vic Tafur, part of the speculation about Adams has been tied to his alleged unhappiness with the organization, but he has downplayed these reports.

In the previous season, he made some comments He said the Raiders have had trouble establishing a winning culture, saying he doesn’t have time to wait until such a culture is developed.

They have some real talent, including Adams, fellow wideout Jakobi Meyers and star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, and they also have hope from rookie tight end Brock Bowers, selected No. 13 in April’s draft.

Additionally, they have a head coach in Antonio Pierce who their players love playing for and have been devoted to since he replaced Josh McDaniels midway through last season.

But Las Vegas’s quarterback situation isn’t exactly great — Gardner Minshew, who ideally should serve as the backup, is their starter, and second-year player Aidan O’Connell is backing him up.

Minshew threw for 3,305 yards and 15 touchdowns while completing 62.2 percent of his passes in 2023, while O’Connell had 2,218 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns in 11 games.

Despite the struggles of Raiders starting quarterbacks O’Connell and Jimmy Garoppolo a year ago, Adams managed to rack up 103 catches, 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns.
