CA’s first in 43 years, Brisbane loses opening Ashes Test, day-night test started from Adelaide




Cricket Australia has announced the Test venues and dates for the 2025-26 Ashes series, in anticipation of a huge influx of tourists for the series.

This will be the first time Brisbane has not hosted the opening match of an Ashes series since 1982–83 when it was hosted by Perth.
