Best bets on college football’s starting future by Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica

“Bear bets” are actual bets that Chris “The Bear” Fallica actually making it.

with College football Now it’s time to start placing some bets.

I’ve already placed some money on a few bets, so let’s jump into the action.

Here are four beginner bets you can put your money on.

Arkansas Over/Under 4.5 wins

The Razorbacks completely fell apart last year, and it felt like they were a losing team both on and off the field. Bobby Petrino was brought in as OC, and then he was chosen Boise State Transfer Talene Green Green will have to hope the Arkansas OL is better than it was a year ago when it allowed one of the worst sack rates in the country and oversaw a non-existent running game.

Sam Pittman is obviously saying the right things, but there are no away games on the schedule. Arkansas–Pine Bluff The only thing you can say about the game is “this is a must-win.” I’d be shocked if Arkansas reached bowl eligibility, and I’d be surprised if it even got to five wins.

PICK: Arkansas under 4.5 wins

Georgia Or Ohio State to win the CFP

Full disclosure: This is a prop I asked the great Chris Andrews to post during a recent dinner at the South Point. He opened it at -110 on both sides, and it’s currently -125 for the field and +105 for the UGA-OSU tandem.

I’d bet on UGA-OSU because I think these two teams are better than everyone else in the long run. There’s a good chance they end up being No. 1 and No. 2 entering the 12-team playoff – meaning they could meet in the title game, or one would have to beat one in the semifinals and one in the title game. How many teams have enough quality depth to make that happen? In my opinion, there are very few. It would be a huge upset if at least one of these two wasn’t in the game, meaning you’d have few options to make a median or moneyline hedge to lock in a profit in that game.

If you don’t have the ability to make it all the way to South Point, you can always play it the old fashioned way by having the two teams compete and win the title individually.

Pick: Georgia or Ohio State (+105) to win the CFP

CFB Preview: Ohio State, University of Georgia or The Plains?

Iowa State to win Big 12

This is the league where we’re likely to see a bit of chaos this year. There’s not much difference between teams one through eight. You could make an argument for any of them winning the league, and you wouldn’t get a whole lot of disagreement from me.

Iowa State is a team I think you want to root for this year. Nearly 20 starters are back from a team that took its own medicine last year by starting several young players including the QB. Rocco Becht.running back Abu Sama – who played a great game late in the season in the snow – and both were wide receivers Jaylin Noel And Jaden HigginsAnd you know John Heacock will always put up a solid defense.

Cyclones defeated Kashmir State And oklahoma state last year and were right against the CFP-bound TexasIowa State is at its best when there are no expectations. There’s so much buzz around the new Big 12 UtahKansas State and Oklahoma State, now is the time to invest in Ames’ team.

Pick: Iowa State (+1000) to win the Big 12

Jeremiah Smith Winning the Heisman

Smith has been absolutely freakish for the Buckeyes, according to reports, and if that transfers over to the regular season — and there’s no hope of that happening — you’ll want the early part of this lunch money type of bet.

There is a scenario where you could hole up in multiple QBs at the top of the Heisman betting board and actually find some value. Whether it be Will Howard Or Julian Caine As the quarterback in Columbus, Smith will be their main weapon and one of the most dynamic offensive threats in the country.

At this price, it’s definitely worth a splurge.

Pick: Jeremiah Smith (+15000) will win the Heisman
