Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol Prediction and Fight Preview
It’s a fascinating matchup of styles as stoppage specialist Artur Beterbiev takes on supreme technician Dmitry Bivol.
Beterbiev has a perfect record with 20 stoppage wins in as many bouts, while Bivol has a 23-0 record and boasts a win over one of the pound-for-pound greats in Canelo Alvarez.
Labeling this as a brawler vs. boxer contest is unfair to both fighters, but there are some elements of it here, and I tend to favor the more skilled fighter in such circumstances.
Beterbiev needs to turn this into a war of words to win, but Bivol, with his supreme movement, accurate left-hook and deceptive but reliable jab, looks very slick.
Bivol is a slight favorite and the best play here appears to be to back the 33-year-old to win on points, as Beterbiev will not give up his unbeaten record easily.

This is a rematch after the draw earlier this year. That first meeting required 12 rounds but I’m still not sure how it happened as both men took some real punishment. Clark was almost defeated in the fifth and Wardley held on in the end. Both will be looking for a stoppage in this rematch after a disappointing draw last time out and one of these two British giants could claim a KO victory – I’m not sure which one.
Jai Opetiya will win in Rounds 7-12

Jay Opetia looks to be a level up from Jack Massey and it won’t be long before the talented Australian is leading the charge at these events himself. However, Massey is no pushover, and has gone the full distance in defeating Richard Riakpore. Messi has never been stopped, but Opetaia has stopped five of his last seven opponents and only twice has Maris Briedis been able to go the distance with the southpaw during that run. Messi may reach the second half of this clash, but Opetaia may finish the job before the final bell.
