The NFL season is filled with ups and downs.
However, given its short duration, there isn’t much room for error.
Plus, since it is a physical sport, all teams are always one concussion and one injury away from destruction.
That’s why it’s so important to start this season off right.
Likewise, this is why teams rarely recover after a bad start.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Ben Maller claimed the Cincinnati Bengals game is over.
Speaking on Fox Sports Radio, the renowned analyst said that people still love Joe Burrow a lot and he is still great, but the Bengals have no chance of making the playoffs.
“At this point, the Bengals are done. They’re the Bengals again…Based on the way they’re playing right now, I don’t see a scenario where they can be a playoff team.” –@benmuller

He claimed that the team has become ‘The Bungles’ again, and added that at this point he doesn’t see any scenario in which they can come back from this.
Maller said all teams are entitled to one bad loss per season, but the Bengals have already lost two bad games in three weeks.
Only six teams have ever made the playoffs after starting 0-3, but the Bengals have a tougher next step ahead of them.
Of course, they have the ability and talent to heat up just as quickly as they cooled down, and Zac Taylor’s squad usually gets off to a slow start before getting a handle on things.
But at this point, it’s very unlikely for this team to get back to the playoffs this season.
