After ending his season with a gruesome Achilles injury in Week 1 last year, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is eager to get back to work in the regular season, and help his team become a true Super Bowl contender in the AFC.

For Rodgers to lead the Jets to success during the 2024 campaign, the four-time NFL MVP will have to build some much-needed chemistry with star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who has been impressive given the circumstances of his first two seasons with New York.

Although the two stars were recently seen yelling at each other on the practice field as there appeared to be some misunderstanding, Rodgers and Wilson could start to get on the same page right in time with the opening of the 2024 NFL season.

He put on a show recently in a joint practice/scrimmage with the New York Giants, with Rodgers throwing a long bomb to his top receiver through Dov Clemons.

If Rodgers and Wilson can perform like this while receiving protection from an upgraded offensive line, the Jets could play a high-powered offense this season, which is a scary thought for their opponents considering how good New York’s defense is expected to be.

Only time will tell if the Rodgers experiment will ultimately be successful, but the Jets appear to be growing in confidence, which is a good sign.
