In case you were wondering, the Frenchman is still as healthy as ever – and his latest antics have left supporters wondering on social media.

Al Ittihad faced Al Ahly on Thursday, with the home side winning 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Saleh Alshehri.

But the game was halted for five minutes as Ittihad fans threw hundreds of flags onto the field.

This was done to slow down the game as the guests took control of the game while Al Ittihad defended their lead.

Most of the players left the field to get drinks until the disturbance was resolved – except one.

The footage shows Kante walking around the field, picking up flags thrown by fans and carrying them to the sidelines to move them out of the way and allow play to resume.

Fans loved the moment on social media, with one on X writing: “Typical i shot the thorn,

Another said: “Such a humble boy, love him so much.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “There are few people in football who are 100% likeable these days.

“N’Golo Kante is the best footballer. Please bring him back to England.”

This is not the first time Kante has shown his class beyond his talent on the field.

He once met an Arsenal fan in a mosque and decided to go back home with him to watch the day’s match and play a spot of FIFA.

The Premier League and World Cup winner also came to training in a modest Mini Cooper, which cost around £10,000, while his teammates came in flashy cars.

And after winning the World Cup with France, Kante was too shy to be asked to hold the trophy, so his teammate Steven Nzonzi and others handed the trophy to him so he could have his moment.

Never change, N’Golo.
