Don’t miss the chance to register for this weekend’s adrenaline-fuelled Skoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024, which offers a unique community event and an exclusive opportunity to make a difference beyond the track.
More than 150 competitors are expected for the second edition on Sunday, November 3. A rewarding 85 kilometer race awaits on Dubai’s famous Al Qudra Cycling Track, with participants receiving a medal at the finish line.
Added significance to this weekend’s operations comes from the fact that 100 percent of the revenue received from registrations will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation for the treatment of children. This desire to give back to the community and promote health awareness is at the heart of the Skoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024, an initiative by Ali & Sons.
Sign-ups are available until Premieres online on Thursday, October 30 at Dh52.50. This fee also includes a t-shirt and official time.
Winners in the men’s and women’s categories can expect cash prizes. Gifts will be given to the second and third place participants.
The top three finishers in the men’s and women’s categories will also get entry. The spectacular first edition of L’Etape Dubai in February 2025, A race inspired by the famous Tour de France. Four other entries will also be selected in the lucky draw.
This Sunday, cyclists are asked to reach the Last Exit – Al Qudra at 6am, where parking will be arranged. Race packs/race bibs can be collected at the venue prior to the race start at 7am.
Once the action begins, participants will be catered by four water stations. The event is expected to end by 11 am, a link will be shared for all to access the results.
