LeBron James is three games into his 22nd NBA season.
It’s crazy to be able to play in the NBA for so long, let alone do it at such a high level.
They had had a somewhat slow start to the season, at least for their standards, yet the Los Angeles Lakers still led 2–0.
That was until the team really needed him to carry the weight.
With the Sacramento Kings threatening to hand them their first loss of the season, James turned the tables early in the fourth quarter.
He scored 11 consecutive points and helped build a 21–0 lead to take control of the game, scoring 16 points in the final quarter alone.
When asked about it, coach JJ Redick congratulated his player, former rival and friend (via Spectrum Sportsnet):
“We’ve all been very fortunate to watch his greatness for so long and the fact that he’s been able to do that, it’s really crazy,” he said.

You may or may not be a fan of LeBron James, but it’s impossible not to be amazed by his durability as a superstar.
We saw him dominate players in the Olympics who were still in their physical condition, and we saw him flip a switch and completely take over a game when his team needed him to.
Of course, expecting him to do that every night would be setting the team up for failure.
He is going to turn 40 soon, so having a supporting cast that can help him stay fresh for the most important time will be the key to the success of this team.
