MLB fans blast Dodgers Spectator for interfering in potential HR by Yankees' Torres

A Los Angeles Dodgers fan interferes with a potential home run by New York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres on Friday night.

With two outs in the top of the ninth inning during Game 1 of the World Series, Torres hit a ball deep into left field that was headed toward the wall. However, before the ball could potentially leave the field, a spectator stepped forward and caught the ball.

Torres was awarded a double due to fan interference, but the Yankees were not able to score before the end of the inning.

That fan should then be ejected permanently… do not approach the field of play, especially in the 9th inning of a World Series in a 2-2 game.
