Sutton’s predictions vs rapper and Man Utd fan Nemazz

Emirates Stadium, 16:30 GMT

The trip back from RB Leipzig on Wednesday didn’t help Liverpool, but Arsenal have bigger problems.

Riccardo Calafiori was excellent against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday but he was sidelined after falling awkwardly. I was at the Emirates, and after seeing what happened I thought he would not be fit for Sunday.

Arsenal have already suspended William Saliba, which is a big loss, so they will have to reshuffle the back.

There are rumors that Jurien Timber might be fit to play at left-back, but if not and they go with Oleksandr Zinchenko against Mohamed Salah, you would want Salah to perform better than him.

Liverpool can take advantage of all this and then you will wonder how Arsenal are lacking attacking players.

There has been a lot of talk about whether Bukayo Saka might be fit after missing the last two matches, but Martin Odegaard is still out.

Without him, Arsenal were disjointed in front of goal against Shakhtar. Gabriel does a lot of good things for the Jesus team, but you will never help him complete them.

So I’m basing this prediction on a combination of what I saw against Shakhtar – as Arsenal were really flat all round – all their injury doubts and the absence of Saliba.

I wouldn’t be predicting a Liverpool win if Saliba was playing, but if Calafiori and Timbers aren’t fit I don’t think Arsenal have enough cover.

This would be a huge win for Liverpool, and everyone is saying that, due to the tough games they have coming up, we will hear more from them soon.

But they have beaten Chelsea and have enough knowledge and wisdom in their team to continue their good run.

I know everyone reading this will be rooting for the 1-1 draw, but I don’t like sitting on the fence for big games like this, and neither should you.

Sutton’s prediction: 0-1.

Nemez’s prophecy: I don’t like any of these teams. I want to say Arsenal will win but Liverpool are on top and playing really well. 2-3.

Sutton’s response to Nemze’s prediction: There he got a shock. I can sleep well with the knowledge that if I need points from this game, there won’t be five goals at the Emirates.
