The Washington Commanders have received a lot of attention due to the coaching work done by Dan Quinn and the play of rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels.

Another player who is starting to draw attention is kicker Austin Seibert.

Host Kay Adams breaks down Seibert’s historic start to the season.

β€œHe has done nothing except fit in and somehow dominate. Seibert made an NFL-best 19 of 20 field goal attempts, all 19 extra points. …He leads the entire league in points with 76,” Adams said on β€œUp & Adams.”

One of the many reasons Commanders has such a good team right now is that they have people who show up and get the job done.

Daniels has thrown a total of 10 touchdowns and two interceptions, with wide receiver Terry McLaurin and tight end Zach Ertz providing him with consistent pass-catchers.

Running backs Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler are among the most underrated players in the league.

But Siebert definitely deserves more attention for what he’s done.

Teams around the league have already gone through a handful of kickers, and the season hasn’t even passed the halfway mark.

The Commanders have an elite offense, an elite kicker and a great defensive head coach.

Those qualities make Washington one of the best teams in football, and it’s why they’re on top of the NFC East.
