Jakub Kivior has had limited opportunities this season apart from substitute appearances and Carabao Cup appearances, but is likely to feature alongside Gabriel in central defence.

It may be too soon for a start for 18-year-old Miles Lewis-Skelley, even if he replaced Calafiori on Tuesday. So it is likely that Oleksandr Zinchenko will be called up at left-back if he is ready after recovering from his calf injury. Ben White lives on the right.
