The San Antonio Spurs may not be a playoff team this season, but they will definitely be watched on television.

That’s the Victor Wembanyama effect.

The reigning Player of the Year is beginning his first campaign in ages, and expectations are even higher for his sophomore year.

At least, that’s what Brian Windhorst thinks.

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, the famous insider claimed that he wanted everyone to realize that Wembanyama has no limits.

Although he doesn’t see the Spurs winning 40+ games this season, he expects them – as well as their prolific big man – to be better than last season.

Windhorst talked about Vembanyama’s combination of unmatched physical attributes and talent, impressive work ethic and how quickly he is developing.

He believes he may have a hard time winning MVP due to his team’s potential struggles, but the fact that he is already a leading candidate for Defensive Player of the Year speaks volumes about his talent. .

Wembanyama has the potential to become the most disruptive defensive force in the game in his second season in the league.

Furthermore, he is someone who is capable of scoring 25 points, grabbing 12 boards, and dishing out 4 assists per game on any given night.

Wembanyama is the most unique player in the league by a significant margin, and it won’t take long for him to become the best player on earth.
