After some time the news came from the ring announcer Samantha Irwin is leaving WWE HitThe company found her replacement: Lilian Garcia.
WWE’s Joe Tessitore had the pleasure of reintroducing Garcia to the fans. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania crowd responded loudly to her return as she walked down the entrance ramp. She will now serve as the ring announcer for Monday Night Raw.
He made the move shortly after Irwin announced his departure. After getting the introduction she got straight to work and got straight into things.
Fans of the company may remember Garcia, who was an announcer for WWE from 1999-2009. She later returned to the company for a tenure ending in August 2016.
Since leaving WWE, Lilian Garcia has worked as a ring announcer for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) since 2019. Garcia also hosts her own podcast, Chasing Glory.
Before his full-time return, Garcia was brought back by Irwin to help announce King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match Between Gunther and Kofi Kingston. Prior to this, Garcia has made one other appearance in the company. And now she’s back full-time as Raw’s ring announcer.
Before leaving Samantha Irwin’s WWE career
Since 2021, Irwin has been one of WWE’s top ring announcers. She began her career as the lead singer in the Michael Jackson tribute show Thriller Live. He performed in the show from 2011–15.
Shortly after, Irwin appeared on Season 10 of America’s Got Talent. She auditioned by performing “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” written by Aretha Franklin. However, she could only reach the semi-finals.
America’s Got Talent is not the only competition show Irwin has participated in. She also appeared on the game show I Can See Your Voice on Fox. During the show she performed Lizzo’s “Good as Hell”.
In 2016, Irwin released his debut EP, 27Underground. The EP includes her hit single “Jump High”, which features backing vocals from her siblings.
His WWE tenure began in 2021 after a failed attempt as a wrestler. Irwin was later hired as the ring announcer for 205 Live.
He was then promoted to NXXT ring announcer and continued to serve in that role until 2022. Irwin was then added to the WWE main roster, and worked as a ring announcer for SmackDown on FOX.
The following year, Irwin was transferred to USA Network as the ring announcer for Raw. While on the red brand, Irwin got the chance to feature in all 14 matches on the card.

It is not clear where she will go now. Irwin announced his departure hours before the October 21, 2024 episode of Raw in Philadelphia.

The news was surprising, especially since it came on the day of a show. In their announcement, they did not reveal what’s next. However, it appears that she will be making an announcement soon.
Her real-life fiancé Ricochet also recently left WWE. He was with the company since 2018 and left in June 2024 after a feud with Braun Breaker. He has since joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
