Arch Manning, football’s most famous backup quarterback, will play his first college game for No. 1 Texas against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night, replacing the injured Quinn Evers.
Cooper Manning’s 19-year-old son, Arch, represents the next generation of football royalty from the Manning family. His grandfather, Archie, played at Ole Miss in the 1960s and played for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL. His uncles, Peyton and Eli, won two Super Bowls each in the NFL after decorated college careers at Tennessee and Ole Miss, respectively.
