Following a midweek win against Young Boys in Switzerland, they were sluggish early on and fell behind in the 25th minute.

They contributed to their own downfall as they were punished for some dangerous play from the back, with Diego Carlos passing straight to Cunha, who happily curled the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Wolves were playing well and should have doubled their lead, but Rayan Ait-Nouri could not connect with Jean-Rikner Bellegarde’s pull-back and his volley went wide.

The visitors had another great chance to double their lead shortly before half-time when Yerson Mosquera’s curling ball found Jorgen Strand Larsen but he lacked determination and his shot was saved by Emiliano Martinez.

Duran hit back by heading Morgan Rodgers’ cross into the empty goal to make sure of the points.
