Following the general manager’s comments, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke for the first time about Christian McCaffrey’s bilateral Achilles tendonitis. john lynch,
“There was a time when he had to do both,” Shanahan said, according to The Athletic. matt barrow“I think it started with one. (He) overcompensated, it moved to the other. But mainly one of them is bothering him, but he’s got trouble with both.”
McCaffrey has so far been ruled out of the entire 2024 season and recently traveled to Germany for extended treatment.
