With four years of experience as a Kansas State Wildcat, Howard will have a great chance for Heisman consideration as long as the Buckeyes hold their own in the Big Ten Conference.
Of course, playing for a major program like Ohio State means more national exposure, which could boost his Heisman candidacy if he performs well in high-profile games. That being said, it appears Howard is walking into the right situation, as Ohio State’s high-octane offense, known for its explosive plays and effective schemes, provides the veteran field general with the perfect platform to showcase his skills.

Why will Quinn Evers win the Heisman?
Tied with Howard at +1400 odds to win the biggest prize in college football, Evers will be eager to lead his Texas Longhorns team back to the College Football Playoff.
Entering his true junior season, it will be up to Ewers to take the next step statistically. At first glance, the Southlake, Texas native threw for 22 touchdowns, but will need more production in the passing game to outshine his quarterbacking peers across the country. With a trio of transfer wide receivers joining the offense to help Texas’ deep-play capability, it’s certainly not impossible to see Ewers’ numbers jump through the air.
