16/1 and 36/1 Golf Tips for This Week’s European Masters!

Scottie Scheffler will be relaxing this week after winning another major prize at the Tour Championship, the pinnacle of the PGA Tour, so all eyes are on the DP World Tour, which takes place on one of the most beautiful courses on the planet.

Former US Open champion and two-time Crans Montana winner Matt Fitzpatrick of Sheffield will lead the field at the stunning Crans-sur-Sierre, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, hoping to better the third place he achieved there 12 months ago, when Swedish sensation Ludwig Aberg recorded a two-shot victory.

European Masters full prediction – Thrisson Lawrence 16/1

Although Fitzpatrick will have plenty of support this week due to his course record, the Ryder Cup star has not had a good season as he failed to qualify for the Tour Championship and has only finished in the top ten three times this year.

While he might not look too attractive at single-digit prices, another former European Masters winner could be hard to beat.

Thrisson Lawrence won a playoff against Matt Wallace two years ago when he shot 62 to win the Test, and he tops the strokes-gained putting statistics, which could tip the balance on a course where players are helped by extra ball-flight because of the elevation.

After a solid showing in the autumn, which is not uncommon for South African players in local competitions, Lawrence has achieved another impressive feat.

He finished second at the European Open in June and then fourth at the Open at Royal Troon.

He followed that up with a five-shot win in the three-round Sunshine Tour event in his hometown and tied for second behind Nicolas Norgaard at last week’s British Masters.

Strong performances over the remainder of the season could help the player, who is 62nd in the rankings, break into the top 50 for the first time, and he could go another step closer this week.

European Masters all-around prediction – Romain Langasque 35/1

Frenchman Romain Langasque has put up some impressive stats recently and a second DPWT win isn’t far away for the 2020 Wales Open champion.

He finished ninth at the European Open, and third at the Scottish Open, which helped him improve his performance in the Open, but was forced to withdraw from Troon due to a back injury.

However, a second-place finish behind fellow countryman Frederik Lacroix in the Danish championship left no ill effects and he could better his best of seventh at Crans-sur-Sierre in 2016.
